What is your returns policy
We offer exchange or shop credit on all purchases from Kite and Butterfly’s closet within 7 days of receiving the item. All return items must be unworn and shipped in it’s original packaging. Please send an email for the exchange or credit to kiteandbutterfly@gmail.com with your order number, items must be shipped back at own cost. All sales are final for orders placed outside of the USA.
Due to the specialization of our made to order gowns, all of our bridal dresses are non-refundable/ exchangeable. Sample sale dresses are also non-refundable we are always happy to answer any questions you may have about the dress or send additional images before purchasing. We also offer Try on samples in most of the dresses. Please email us to see samples we have available from our studio.

All of our dresses are hand made by a small team of woman at our Los Angeles studio.
What are your shippings costs
Shipping Kite and Butterfly’s closet orders flat rate within USA $15 for all international orders $75
Shipping Kite and Butterfly bride dress orders within USA $35 for all international orders $95
Do you offer plus size dresses in bridal dresses
Yes we can custom make any size dress for you.
Can you custom make my wedding dress
Our bridal dresses are all hand made and we can customize them to fit you perfectly. When purchasing your gown on the shop site please check out with your usual dress size then email us your measurements, we will then add them to the order notes! If there are details you would like to change or alter, just let us know!
Can fabric lace swatches be mailed to me
Yes, please email us your mailing address.
Can i have a wedding dress made and ready to ship in 6 weeks or less
Yes! If we have the fabric in stock, we can certainly have a dress made for you, there is a rush fee.
How long does it usually take to receive my wedding dress once i order iT
Production time on a gown usually takes 8-12 weeks from order date.
What size samples so you have at your Salon
Our sample dresses range from xsmall to xlarge.
I am a retailer and would like to carry your dresses. Do you offer wholesale
Yes! Please email us with information with Wholesale in the subject line.
What is a Pop Up / Trunk show
A fun event where you get the opportunity to view and try on the entire wedding dress collection and meet the designers Kite and Butterfly. There is usually a 10% discount at the event!
Do you have a "Try on at Home" option
Sample wedding dresses are available in all sizes to send out if we have them available this is a great way to try on your dream dress with family and friends.
Can i purchase the wedding dress now, then send my measurements at a later date
Yes, a lot of brides like to send measurements closer to their wedding date, so that is perfectly fine with us!
How should i store my Kite & Butterfly wedding gown
It is important to select a storage area that is cool, dry and free from heat, moisture and insects. We suggest having your dress dry-cleaned prior to storage.

who pays for custom duties and taxes on international orders
We are not responsible for taxes or duties on orders after it has been shipped from the USA
